Young Global Leaders Survey
The annual Young Global Leaders Survey will feature the perspectives of 1000 young global leaders (social entrepreneurs, business entrepreneurs, career professionals, cultural visionaries, change agents, innovators) in 50 countries across a range of sectors and industries. The survey will take a close look at some of the inevitable forces shaping the world’s highest performing young talent and the institutions they lead. The survey will identify how successfully institutions worldwide are preparing high performing young talent aged 18-40 with the competencies and capacities to respond to the toughest challenges of our age.
In summary, the annual Young Global Leaders Survey will establish:
What forces are impacting young global leaders and the institutions they lead?
How successfully young global leaders are managing issues of global complexity, uncertainty and paradox?
What institutions are doing to prepare top talent for global leadership?
How successfully institutions are preparing top talent for global leadership roles?
The Methodology
The Foundation is currently developing key partnerships with leading institutions, networks and forums worldwide to provide us with the names of their highest performing talent aged 18-40. These 1000 survey participants will complete a comprehensive – online - leadership development assessment and an in-depth questionnaire tailored to the theme of global leadership. A further sample group of the world’s top young global leaders will also take part in face to face dialogue interviews conducted by global “thought leaders”.
The Outcome
A global report will be the core outcome of the survey. It will feature:
An analysis and interpretation of our aggregate findings
One-on-one interviews with the world’s top young global leaders
In-depth and personal perspectives of how young global leaders, and the institutions and communities they lead, are meeting the challenges of an increasingly complex world
A selection of verbatim comments from participating young global leaders providing some flavour and context to the year's survey.
