Global Leadership Program

The greater the challenge, the greater the capacity required for a successful and enduring response. The Global Leadership Program (GLP) is an annual year-long learning laboratory through which 30 young global leaders aged 18-40 will develop the internal and external capacities needed to effectively respond to complex global social, economic, political, and environmental challenges. The GLP is designed to both transform and strengthen the worldviews of high-potential young global leaders (from the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Europe, North and South America) and to hone their global leadership skills. It consists of three seven-day intensive workshops—one every four months—coupled with online tele-classes and group coaching between each workshop. This structure allows participants to not only remain in full employment throughout the program, but to engage the material with a depth and intensity that will foster true change in behaviour.

The Learning Model

Participants will engage in adult action- and experiential-learning that builds upon the knowledge and experiences of the group and is highly participatory. Key modules will be tailored to participants' real-world, real-time projects and leadership challenges.

Core Skills and Vital Tools

Drawing from decades of research in leadership, organizational management, human development and social change, the Global Leadership Program will teach some of the most advanced and powerful leadership skills and tools available anywhere.

Achieving a Measurable Shift in Consciousness amongst Leaders

The Global Leadership Program is designed to facilitate a significant and measurable shift in consciousness among high-potential leaders. Participants will be trained how to increase the complexity of their worldview so that they can see more opportunities, hold more perspectives, and access more of their intellectual, physical, emotional, interpersonal, and even spiritual capacities.

Research from developmental psychology and early anecdotal evidence suggest that consistent use of the tools and processes taught in the Global Leadership Program will help leaders to:

  • Get much more done, and achieve better results, while expending less time, effort, and resources

  • Activate previously uncommitted brainpower

  • More easily bridge divisions, make connections, and align disparate groups toward a common goal

  • Deliver more comprehensive, nuanced, and successful responses to complex dilemmas

  • Dramatically increase the quantity and quality of good ideas and solutions to problems

  • Handle increasingly complex situations, hold contrasts, synthesize positions, and dissolve paradoxes

  • Understand others and oneself on increasingly subtle levels, and better access information through—and beyond—the rational mind.

With its foundation in advanced research in leadership, psychology, and human, social and organizational development, the Global Leadership Program is positioned to become a benchmark for training tomorrow’s social, economic, political, and environmental leaders. Currently, no other leadership development initiative anywhere serves high-potential international leaders with proven processes that develop the whole leader, measurably increasing the complexity of their worldview while forging powerful new skills for action.
